Desc. = • Designed to extract frozen or broken porcelain part of the spark plug in the 3 Valve Ford Triton engines. 2004 to present • Using these special tools and a strong epoxy you should be able to extract the broken porcelain left behind when spark plug removal was attempted • The advantage of this method of extraction is to prevent broken pieces of porcelain from entering the combustion camber • Ford specifically does NOT recommend pushing the broken porcelain down into the cylinder Doing so would mean the removal of the cylinder head • Kit Contains: • 1 – Epoxy applicator with guide, 1 – epoxy electrode applicator and extractor assembly, 1 – Small tube of bonding epoxy (Loctite) • Replacement epoxy use Loctite No. 638 or Permatex No. 64000 or 64050 • Replacement Parts: H3659-10 epoxy applicator H3659-11 epoxy pins – 10 pack
Desc. = • Designed to extract frozen or broken spark plug ground electrode shields in Ford Triton engines 2004 to present – 4.6LT, 5.4LT, 6.8LT V-10 • The elongated plug has a stainless steel shield – as the carbon deposit builds-up, the shield sticks and stays in the cylinder head spark plug well • Use the specially machined guide with tap 9mm x 8"L (203.2mm) to tap the shield • Use the extractor to pull out the stainless steel sleeve • Problem solved; saving time and a huge expense • Kit Contains: 1 each: guide, Tap 9mm x 8"L (203.2mm), extractor, nut, washer and 4 rubber stopper caps, all in a blow mold case
